So much to be thankful for...

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful holiday with family and friends. Isaac and Anna got to spend time with their cousins from Cleveland and even see Mo Mo who made the trip (from her nursing home) to Grammy and Pappy's to celebrate with all of us. We also got to see our friends from South Carolina and had fun playing and catching up with them. Kelly and I are the oldest and dearest friends and it warms my heart that she always makes time to see us when they're in town.

Getting ready for Christmas, ho ho ho...

Just a few pictures showing off our Santa babies...

Isaac the Indian

Isaac celebrated Thanksgiving with his pre-school friends today and they shared a feast together. They had apple juice, cheese, popcorn, grapes and a bunch of other stuff too. Everyone brought something to bless and eat. They made their hats and these two pictures show Isaac enjoying the fruit of his labor! Happy Thanksgiving!

Tiny Tots

It's that time of year again, Tiny Tots. It's a series of free concerts by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra geared at younger audiences. The first one is usually in November followed by February and March. We've been going for 3 years now and just love it. This concert was themed around the book, A Blue So Blue and even had a song called Anna Banana Blues. We went with friends and Isaac was excited to share the experience with Helena, Zach and Carter; Brady and Anna too.

How can I be so blessed???

That my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks forever. Psalm 30:12

As a mother, I am feeling truly blessed today. There are moments (like this morning when they both just whined) that are overwhelming and make me doubt my ministry but overwhelmingly I am so blessed to have the opportunity to stay home with my children and watch them grow and become who God intended them to be. The time flies so fast and I'm grateful for this moment I have to share them with you. Thank you Timmy as well for giving me the chance to stay home and fulfill God's purpose for me.

Frog fun!!!

Good morning...after taking Isaac to pre-school, Anna and I played some in her room...she was really having a lot of fun and in a great mood despite being tired. She's really enjoying being able to get around and explore her world. She's doing a great job crawling and is just such a happy baby. I love her so much! The video shows a little of her personality, enjoy.

Indian Summer

Last week in Pittsburgh we had a wonderful few days of indian summer, as a result, we decided to take the kids outside and enjoy the warm weather after dinner...these are a few shots of us doing exactly that...

Anna's crawling!!!

Isaac, Anna and I were hanging out today in her room after pre-school, a trip to the library and lunch and all of the sudden (after many days of seeming like she was going to move) Anna started crawling around the room. Actually moving forward instead of backwards, moving her hands and everything. At one point, she had Isaac trapped in a was funny as he had no where to go to get away. She was trying to get at his doodle pro and for those of you who know Isaac this was a serious infraction. I took some pictures and a few of them are especially awesome because they show her chubby, chubby legs....I could just eat them up....don't you wish they could stay this small longer???

More leaves....

These are just a few more leave pictures that I thought were sweet and decided to post....

Harvest Festival

Our church organized a harvest festival this past Saturday night and since Isaac isn't at all into candy and doesn't think much about dressing up that's how we spent our evening. Actually, it was just Timmy and Isaac that went since Anna and her schedule didn't really cooperate. Anyway, they had dinner, did crafts, got candy, played in the corn box (Isaac's favorite part), took hay rides, and sang around the bonfire. When they got home, Isaac was so excited about how much fun he had we knew that we had just started a new tradition. Next year we'll see how much Anna likes it...
